Anna's Story

Anna Lee Switzer Lytle, age 76, of Cincinnati Branch, Morehead, passed away Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at Baptist Health in Lexington.

Born Dec. 20, 1939, in Clearfield, she was a daughter of the late Osil Thomas Switzer and Jewell Ingle Switzer. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Switzer and Bubby Switzer.

Ann was united in marriage to Calvin Ray Lytle on May 26, 1956, and they are the parents of three children: Janie Lytle Davenport and Raymond Thomas "Tommy" Lytle, both of Morehead, and Roy Lee Lytle, their beloved son, who passed away Feb. 26, 2010.

Other survivors include 6 grandchildren, Tom Ray Lytle, Rebecca Lytle Thomas, Lester Raymond Deem III, Houston Neal Davenport, Elizabeth LeeAnn Davenport, and Brittany Michelle Allen; 13 great grandchildren; two sisters, Eulene Keeton of Clearfield and Ruth Roberts of New Lexington, Ohio; extended family members; and many friends.

Ann was a former employee of Ray's Saveway, Pathways, and Life Care Center of Morehead. She was currently employed by Rowan County Board of Education as a bus monitor. Ann enjoyed looking forward to Saturday morning breakfasts for all the family and loved cooking and baking pies and cakes for family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life was held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bro. David Muncy officiating.

Visitation was Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
