Betty Lou Fugate, age 54, of Ebon Road, Wellington, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Born October 26, 1963, in Frenchburg, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and India Dunn Fugate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jackie Eugene Fugate, and one son, Michael Timothy Eugene Fugate, who passed away February 26, 2003.
Betty is survived by her soulmate, William Ray Back; four daughters, Amber Ray Dawn Back of Mt. Sterling, Amanda Jo Purvis and Jimmy of Jeffersonville, Becky Caudill and Jeremy of Mt. Sterling, and Tina Rogers and Mike of Wellington; one daughter-in-law, Brandi Fugate Martin of Jeffersonville; five grandchildren, Morgan Purvis, Kyra Purvis, Emmalyn Purvis, Jaydon Rogers, and Hunter Caudill.
Other survivors include one brother, Johnny Fugate, and one sister, Rosemary Craft, both of Wellington; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Betty was employed by Masco Cabinetry in Mount Sterling and enjoyed camping, cooking, and playing Solitaire.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Jess Brewer and Brother Tom Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Back Cemetery in Wellington.
Pallbearers: William Ray Back, Johnny Fugate, Joe Conrad, Jimmy Purvis, Mike Rogers, and Jeremy Caudill.
Visitation is 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
