Brian Kenton Lambert


Brian Kenton Lambert, age 54, of Sharkey, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.
He was born May 15, 1964, in Flemingsburg, Kentucky, and is the son of Samuel Thomas Lambert of Willisburg, Kentucky, and the late Anna Elizabeth Nell Royse Lambert. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his special grandmother, Hattie Bell Thomas Royse.
In addition to his father, Brian is survived by his wife, Tonya Luann Brown Lambert; one daughter, Brittany Michelle Jolly and husband Cody of Hillsboro, Kentucky; one son, Brandon Kyle Lambert of Fleming County, Kentucky; one stepson, Aaron Christian of Sharkey; two grandchildren, Kenton Ray and Kylie Mae Jolly, as well as two children he loved as his own, Zachary and Tyler Logan.
Brian also leaves behind two brothers, Tommy Lambert and wife Beth of Hillsboro and David Lambert and wife Jennifer of Bath County; four sisters, Shelia Logan, Kim Hamilton and husband Everett and Sandy Ritchie and husband David, all of Hillsboro, and Tommie Lynn Stone of Morehead; nieces and nephews; extended family; and many friends.
Brian was a machinist at Hypac in Flemingsburg for 30 years and co-owner and operator of Lambert Brothers Lawn Care in Fleming County. He was a dedicated member of the Hillsboro Volunteer Fire Department for 38 years and a member of Sharkey Baptist Church for many years. A die-hard UK fan, he also enjoyed turkey and deer hunting and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Brian will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Sharkey Baptist Church with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. and the Rev. Elijah Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in the Black Family Cemetery on Sharkey Road.
Pallbearers: Estill Hamilton, Wade Logan, Kenton Jolly, Cody Jolly, Hunter Smoot, Hayden Logan, Shawn Royse, Chris Royse, and Brandon Lambert.
Honorary Pallbearers: Aaron Christian, Zachary Logan and Tyler Logan, and members of the Hillsboro Volunteer Fire Department.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2019, at Sharkey Baptist Church, 2555 Sharkey Road, Morehead, KY 40351.
