Charlotte Crain Jolly, age 81, of Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, passed away
Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
Born January 5, 1936, in Hillsboro, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Allie Turner Crain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Wendell Crain.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Herbert C. Jolly, whom she married July 23,1952; one daughter, Pamela Trent and husband Linden of Hillsboro; one sister, Wanda Vice of Lexington; and several special nieces and nephews.
Charlotte was the co-owner of Jolly Charolais for over 50 years and was the co-owner of Kerns and Williams Insurance Agency in Flemingsburg for 18 years. She was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church where she served as secretary and treasurer for many years.
Charlotte enjoyed all aspects of farm living, especially caring for her cattle.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Hutton Funeral Home with Pastor Elgin Emmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Fleming County Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Norman Harn, Bobby Conley, Matthew Crain, Andy McDonald, Johnny Vise, and Chuck Ramey.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018, at Hutton Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
