Dorothy Hinkle Cisco, age 86, of US 60 West, Morehead, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.
She was born November 12, 1931, in Tomahawk, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Harrison and Dovie Ramey Hinkle. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Floyd, Fred, and Forrest Hinkle, and two sisters, Shirley Marcum and Vivian Mills.
Dorothys beloved husband for 49 years, Linkous Cisco, passed away December 13, 1994.
She is survived by one son, Linkous Gary Cisco of Morehead; one daughter, Georgia Marie Lewis and husband Earl of Springboro, Ohio; one granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Lewis Heck and husband Alexander of Centerville, Ohio; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Dorothy was a faithful member of the Morehead Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir, participating in church activities, and spending time with her church family. An employee of Martins Department Store for 27 years, she loved her work and helping customers. Known as a gracious, kind, and stylish lady, Dorothy also loved decorating her home and keeping her home immaculate at all times. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be sadly missed.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Brad Bennington and Pastor David Starcher officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery. Pallbearers: Marshall Kirk, Hobert Mills, Charles Mills, Gaylen David Cisco, Kelly Hinkle, and Jasper Stepp.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
