Edward ("Buck") Milton Law, 95, of Dry Creek Road, Clearfield passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 in the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.
He was born on Jan. 1, 1922 in Blaze, a son of the late Gillard and Elma Perry Law.
Mr. Law was a World War II Army Veteran (1942-1945) serving on the Charles A. Stafford Army Ship as a medic.
He was a farmer and of the Church of God Faith. Buck was a lifelong member of the DAV and the Corbie Ellington American Legion Post No. 126. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, fishing, hunting, raising a garden, target shooting and trading.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eliza Quesinberry Law, who passed away in 1993 and one sister, Alberta Jo Law Brewer.
Survivors include one son, Mark D. Law of Clearfield, two daughters, Bonnie Law Furnish (Jeff) of Clearfield and Janet Law Stevens (Danny) of Morehead, two sisters, Janice Law Manley of Winchester and Margaret Law McKenzie (John Paul) of Clearfield, one brother, Gaynes Law of Clearfield, two grandchildren, Jennifer Combs Bentley (Shawn) of Wellington and Christopher Furnish (Miki) of Clearfield, one step-grandson, Mark Stevens of Clinton Township, Michigan, five great-grandchildren, Dalton Bentley, Chance Furnish, Kelsey Bentley, Josie Marie Furnish and Dylan Bentley, one step-great-grandson, Daniel Stevens, three brothers-in-law, Don Brewer of Wellington, Clayton Quesinberry (Frances) of Washington Courthouse, Ohio and Chenault Brown of Lexington, one sister-in-law, Blandena Phillips Quesinberry of Xenia, Ohio, several nieces and nephews and caregiver, Elisa Stamper.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Max Molihan officiating.
Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery.
Full military rites will be conducted at the graveside by the Corbie Ellington American Legion Post No. 126.
Visitation is from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Denver Forman, David Mullins, Chris Furnish, Dalton Bentley, Shawn Bentley and Jimmy McKenzie and honorary pallbearers will be his great-grandchildren.
