Freddie Ray Hart, age 63, of Clearfield, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016, at his residence.
Born April 1, 1953, at Whitesburg in Letcher County, he was the son of the late Henry and Velta Niece Hart. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Roscoe Edward Ray Hart; a sister, Shirley Hart, a brother, Johnny Hart; a half-brother, Bill Holbrook; and a step brother, Ben Hart.
Freddie is survived by his wife of 44 years, Wilma L. Bryant Hart, whom he wed Sept. 16, 1972; two sons, Adam Otto Ray Hart of Morehead and Damine Hart of Clearfield; two grandchildren, Dylan Hart and Clara Hart, both of Clearfield.
He also leaves behind one brother, Steve Hart of Cincinnati, Ohio; one half -brother, Virgil Holbrook of Tiffin, Ohio; two sisters, Barbara Milroy and Mattie Wieble, both of Tiffan, Ohio; and a stepsister, Martha.
Freddie was a roofer with M. J. Brown Roofing in Tiffin, Ohio, for more than 15 years. He was also a mechanic and a trucker and loved tinkering with various projects. He moved to Rowan County in 1995. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation is in Morehead from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
Visitation is also in Tiffin, Ohio, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Tyree and the Rev. Benny Fitch officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairmont Cemetery in Tiffin, Ohio.
