Glenda Sue's Story
Glenda Sue Carter Leadingham, age 58, of Maher Drive, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at the Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester.
She was born December 4, 1958, in Rowan County, a daughter of the late Johnie and Martha Roe Carter. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Leadingham, and three brothers, James Lee Carter, Carl Daymon Carter, and Burl Kenneth Carter.
Glenda is survived by one son, Anthony Leadingham, and one daughter, Melinda Leadingham, both of Morehead, and three granddaughters, Ashleigh Leadingham, Savana Garris, and Nevaeh Dillon.
Other survivors include two brothers, Garlan Carter and Sue of Alliance, Ohio, Garry Carter and Jennifer of Olive Hill; three sisters, Janice Wagoner and Talmadge of Olive Hill; Agatha Robin Ross and Jack and Audrey Joy and Jim Goodpaster, all of Winchester; two sisters-in-law, Joan Carter and Josephine Carter, as well as nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
Glenda retired from Lexmark in Lexington and enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Elijah Wagoner, Brother Rex Sagraves and Brother Austin Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the John Carter Cemetery in Elliott County.
Pallbearers will be Carson Carter, Rodney Wagoner, Tony Wagoner, Greg Carter, Joseph Carter, and Johnie Leadingham.
Visitation is 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
