Goldie Marie Howard, 92, of Burton, passed away Oct. 1, 2016 at MediLodge of Yale.
She was born in Sandy Hook, March 31, 1924, the daughter of the late Dee and Nannie (Stevens) Wagoner.
Her marriage to Clayton W. Howard was March 2, 1943. Clayton died Nov. 19, 1997.
Goldie like attending church, shopping, cooking, yard work and flower gardening, collecting bears, dolls and baskets.
Surviving are four daughters, Gloria (James) and Jerry Finch of Clyde Twp., Patty and Dick Molesworth of Peck, Carole (Sue) and Richard Harris of Davison and Shirley (Gayle) and Ken Burns of Montrose; son-in-law, Ed Conger of Yale, daughter-in-law, Sherry Howard of Davison; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Troy Wagoner of Kentucky and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her son, Donald Howard (2013), daughter, Thelma Conger (Aug. 14, 2016); three brothers, Ralph, William, and Junior, two sisters, Lois Simmons and Charity Ison, and a son-in-law, Michael James.
The family honors the memory of Goldie and invite you to visit and share memories Tuesday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Yale.
Memorials are suggested to "Alzheimer's Association".
