Born August 18, 1961, in Xenia, Ohio, he is the son of William Adrian Truesdell of Huber Heights, Ohio, and Sarah Katherine Pieratt Truesdell of Zanesville, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his wife and soulmate for 25 years, Malinda Henson Truesdell; one daughter, Samantha White; and one granddaughter, Victoria Booth, all of Morehead; two brothers, William Nicholas (Tina) Truesdell of New Lebanon, Ohio, and Adrian Keith (Faith) Truesdell of Monroe, Ohio; one sister, Vicki Lynn (Walter) Cooley of Zanesville, Ohio; and godson, Jamie Farrell of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Jeff was employed as a building service technician at Morehead State University. He graduated from Trotwood (Ohio) High School in 1979 where he participated in many activities. He was a former youth softball coach and enjoyed baseball and NASCAR. Jeff was very funny, always making jokes and enjoying life. Christmas and kids were important to him and from that came the tradition of an annual Truesdell Christmas party. Family was so very important to Jeff; he was an incredible man who loved his wife, daughter and granddaughter greatly. Jeff was especially active in his granddaughter's life-they were each other's best friend, and both treasured their many adventures together. Jeff will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

Jeff Truesdell was my bestfriend, and the apple of my eye, i will always remember the way he smiled when he was proud of me. I love him so much it hurts, and I will always cherish the memories we had.

I will miss Jeff and love him very much..he is my baby brother. I remember one day we went to the grocery and Jeff asked if anyone was going in with him and no one voluntered..so Jeff told everyone to get out of the car..he said it is family day everyone is going in. then once we got in the store he was in one aisle and my Daughter (Amanda) was in the other aisle and he yelled over at her "Amanda where are you..are you lost". We all laughed except her she wanted to go hide somewhere ..she will never forget that day.

I always remember Jeff as a smiling, funny, friendly person. He was that way as a kid through adulthood. I have a memory of playing miniature golf in Florida with Jeff and I having trouble hitting the ball over a water feature and holding everyone up and Jeff laying down across the area and said I am going to block it going anywhere else but where it was suppose too.. He did, I made it, and everyone I was holding up applauded.
I last saw Jeff in 2016 when visiting him and Malinda at their Morehead home. I will miss him and my heart aches for his immediate family and for his extended family too. You were very loved and will be missed very much.
RIP cousin!

I am so sorry for your loss! My earliest memory specifically of Jeff was when our families had gotten together and Jeff was running towards me. My first thought was: we are playing tag!! Finally someone not that much taller than me.... I’m not going to lose this time... so I took off running. I was completely exhausted but very excited that I finally won!... My excitement quickly faded when I heard Jeff being scolded because he hadn’t given me the gift that he brought for me ( I think it was a small music box). I don’t think I enjoyed tag anymore after that... but I did win! Rest peacefully Jeff ❤️
