Jessica "Jessie"'s Story
Jessica "Jessie" Carol Jent Moran, age 35, of Story Branch Road, Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Fleming County Hospital in Flemingsburg.
Born February 23, 1982, in Morehead, Jessica is the daughter of Monty and Kitty Bradley Jent of Hillsboro.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Edward Moran; one daughter, Sydney Carol Duncan; four stepsons, Gavin, Colby, Logan, and Levi Moran; her first husband, Brian Duncan and wife Traci of Hillsboro; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ervin and Edna Jane Curtis Jent; maternal grandparents, Sterling and Audra Thompson Bradley; and a special uncle, Ricky Jent.
Jessie was a graduate of Fleming County High School and an employee of Young Farm Machinery for 16 years where she took pride in her job. She was a member of the Grange City Christian Church. Jessie had a love for animals and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2017, at the Hutton Funeral Home with Brother Willie Skaggs, Jr., Brother Richard Engle, and Brother Randy Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Edward Moran, Gavin Moran, Colby Moran, Brian Duncan, Scotty Dailey, Jesse Curtis, Nicholas Shelley, and Jimmy Smith.
Honorary pallbearers: Monty Jent, Dennis Jent, Chubby Curtis, John Foudray, Ricky Lewis, Hot Shot Fawns, Don Young, Ray Weaver, Herman Shelley, and Rick Maze.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Hutton Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
