John  Hyatt


A gathering of friends and family will celebrate and remember the life of John Keith "Tuck" Hyatt, age 67, of Heath and formerly of Morehead, Kentucky, on Wednesday, July 17, from 11-1 p.m. at The Heath Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta- Stickle Funeral and Cremation Service, 1249 Hebron Road, Heath.
Tuck passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Arlington Care Center. He was born August 18, 1951 in Morehead, Kentucky to the late Robert Hyatt and late Ruby (Lewman) Anderson.
Tuck always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He liked to fish and camp at many of Ohio's and Kentucky's State Parks. Tuck was also an avid pool player and Ohio State Buckeye fan. He will long be remembered as a kind, fun loving, and caring man who left a lasting impression on those he met.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Shirley B. (Smith) Hyatt, whom he married on April 18, 1992; a brother, William M. (Denise) Hyatt; three sisters, Pamela M. (Greg) McGehee, Caryn E. (Lowell) Thompson and Judy L. (Larry) Early; two stepsons, Franklin A. Ames and Donald Holland; two stepdaughters, Conni Lynn Farmer and Debbi Grace Mulpas; a sister-in-law, Sandra K. Hyatt; numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren; and a very special pet dog, "Sassy".
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Hyatt (2016) and stepdaughter, Sherri Marie Hinaman.
Memorial contributions may be made in Tuck's name to the charity of the donor's choice.
The Heath Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service, 1249 Hebron Road, Heath is assisting the family with arrangements.
