Joyce Lea "Sally" Reynolds Conn, age 74, of Conn Road, Morehead, peacefully joined our Lord on Jan. 25, 2017, at her home.
Born May 13, 1942, in Carter County, she was a daughter of late Davis and Linnie Trent Reynolds. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Glennis "Penny" Reynolds; three sisters, Linda Mae Conn, Glenna Kay Butler, and Bertha Faye Reynolds.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Floyd Conn, whom she married July 21, 1962; two sons, James Edward (Mona Annette) Conn and John Davis (Missy) Conn, all of Morehead; one daughter, Francis (Jason) Whitt of Morehead; 10 grandchildren, April, John Jr., Chrissa, Tyler, Virginia, Kennedy, Kaylee, Derek, Erik, and Becky; seven great grandchildren, Jamie, Chloe, AvaLea, Myah, Natalie, Dalton, and Courtney.
Other survivors include three brothers, Jimmy Reynolds of Rush, Tommy Reynolds of Olive Hill, and Bobby Joe Reynolds of Morehead; three sisters, Gracie DeHart and Pam Kissinger, both of Morehead, and Patty Mabry of Olive Hill; and nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. She was a devout Christian since 1999 and a member of the Brinegar Church of God.
She loved gardening, quilting, cooking, canning, and nurturing her flowers. Joyce took special delight in bringing her family and friends together as she hosted the Reynolds family reunion for 30 years. Her loving, gentle ways will be sadly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Louie Harris and Brother Victor Mabry officiating. Burial will follow in Conn Cemetery.
Pallbearers: David Conn, Dennie Trent, Jamie Knight, T. J. Reynolds, Jason Whitt, Josh Hollingsworth, and Dalton Jessee.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
