Kenneth Ray Smith, 76, of Venice, FL, formerly of Morehead, passed away April 18, 2017. Ken served his country in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Vietnam War. He was one of the top car salesmen at various dealerships in several states, receiving several awards. Ken was a USCG licensed pilot, certified for both river and ocean, and he was an enthusiastic University of Kentucky supporter. He was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Jewel (Franklin) Smith, brothers Charles, Dana, and Johnny Smith, and sister, Lenore Fultz. Ken is survived by his brother Vernon (Bobbie) Smith, sisters Judy (Mike) Turner and Kathleen Tirey, a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members, and best friend Loretta Clark. Ken's family received friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00pm Saturday, April 22, with a celebration of his life following at 2:00 pm Saturday.
