Larry Walter Burton, 64, of Brown Street, Morehead, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
He was born March 9, 1953, in Shelby, Ohio, a son of the late Norman and Grace Rosanna Dudley Burton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Roger Burton, Carl Burton, and Owen Burton; one sister, Karen Rosita White; one son, Anthony Burton; and one daughter, Bianca Chapman Burton.
Larry is survived by his companion, Nancy Calton Lewis of Morehead; one son, Joshua Burton of Galion, Ohio; one daughter, Samantha Wright of Bucyrus, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and seven step grandchildren.
He is also survived three brothers, Ricky Burton of Olive Hill, Norman Burton of Plymouth, Ohio, and Joe Burton of Galion, Ohio; two sisters, Ina Kay Russell of Shelby, Ohio, and Connie Messer of Morehead; and several nieces and nephews.
Larry was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former steel mill employee. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and watching television. He was of the Church of God faith.
Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Larry Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in Manning Chapel Cemetery in Carter County.
Pallbearers: Josh Burton, Zachary Burton, Terry Henderson, Dakota Lewis, Jerry Bowen, William Logan, Alex Hill, Mike Patrick, and Will Quisenberry.
Visitation was 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
