Leniel Lee Stiddom, age 74, of Skillet Branch Road, Owingsville, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
Born June 27, 1943, in Salt Lick, he was a son of the late James Russell Stiddom and Ruth Lovely Stiddom. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Albert Stiddom.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rhonda Conley Stiddom, whom he married August 19, 1973; one daughter, Shawna Stiddom Jarrells and husband John of Muncie, Indiana; and two granddaughters, Aubree and Avery Jarrells.
Also surviving are two brothers, Denzel Stiddom of Salt Lick and Stanley Stiddom of Owingsville; four sisters, Wanda Snyder of New Richmond, Ohio, Eldene Barton of Blanchester, Ohio, Mary Jones of Farmers, and Debbie Everman of Owingsville; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members; and special neighbors, Billy and Eva Adams of Owingsville.
Leniel was a retired heavy equipment operator for Bowlin Construction in Losantville, Indiana. He attended the Midland Church of God and was a member of Indiana Laborers Union Local 120 and 103. Leniel enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, working on lawnmowers, and spending time with his family, especially his "grand girls."
Funerals services were conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jerry Bowlin officiating. Burial followed in Hedrick Cemetery in Salt Lick.
Pallbearers: James Rowe, James Stiddom, Earl Willis, Ronnie Sloan, Eddie Mekelburg, and Mike Mekelburg. Honorary pallbearers: Lucas Rowe, Matthew Rowe, and Michael Stiddom.
Visitation was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
