Leonard Ellis Marcum, age 82, of Centerville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Walnut Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kettering, Ohio.
Born August 2, 1935, in Estill County, he was the son of the late Clarence and Ina Hall Marcum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hildreth Fern Howard Marcum; one son, Lenyol Allen Marcum; two brothers, Donald and Larry Marcum; one sister, Sylvia Marcum; and one nephew, Wesley Howard.
He is survived by seven grandchildren, Matthew Sanders, Amber Marcum, Ashley Marcum, Ana Langenburg, Lenyol A. Marcum, Casiey Wilder, and Maxwell Wilder; five great grandchildren; one sister, Sharon Musburger of Ohio; brother-in-law, Herman Presley of Springboro, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Anne Caskey Money and Janie Dockery, both of Morehead; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Marcum served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from General Motors as department foreman. He was a member of Miamisburg Assembly of God and Kettering Recreation Center. Leonard enjoyed square dancing, hunting, and playing golf.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with family officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
