Lonnie Dean Hamlin, age 57, of Radcliff, formerly of Morehead, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
Born June 14, 1959, in Pike County, he was the son of the late Ronald J. "Bo" Hamlin and Joan Ann Hubbard Hamlin.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Bolin Hamlin; one son, James Hamlin and wife Charli of Morehead; one daughter, Heather Ratliff and husband Casey of Paintsville; one sister, Denise Hamlin Webb and husband Kenny of Lexington; and four grandchildren, Tamara Lynn Hamlin, Emily Welch, Wade Ratliff, and Matthew Ratliff.
Lonnie graduated from Rowan County High School and Morehead State University. He served in the U. S. Army from 1977 to 1981 and was currently a project manager for Cooper Steel in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jared DeAtley officiating. Burial will follow in Bolin Cemetery in Crockett. Morehead American Legion Post No. 126 will provide full military honors and serve as pallbearers.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
