
Mary Jane Blair
February 11, 1941 - January 31, 2019
Mary Jane was born on February 11, 1941, in Morehead to Ernest Blair and Vada Wallace Blair. In 1959, she married Ralph Greenhill and they raised three children: Cynthia Tarr (Connan) of Shepherdsville, Belinda Hillman (Andrew) of Anchorage, Alaska, and Timothy Greenhill of Mt. Washington. Her love of life included six grandchildren: Christina, Mark, Christopher, Timothy, Samantha and Anthony, and four great-grandchildren: Felicity, Dylan, Sage and Fox.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, John Green; and sister, Anna Lee Johnson.
Mary Jane was a bank branch manager at First National Bank (later PNC) in Louisville for 30 years. "Janie," as she was known to many, loved to sew and crochet, play the flute, dance (to Herb Albert & the Tijuana Brass), listen to music (all types but rap), and late in life, she learned to quilt. She was known for her pure and kind heart, with always a nice word to anyone she met. Mary Jane was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church in Shepherdsville.
A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Dr. David Starcher officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Mark Badder, Christopher Badder, Timothy Greenhill, Andrew Hillman, Dylan Cash, and Craig Badder.
Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351
