Regina Ellen Stephens, 66, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away Jan. 16, 2016, at Hospice of Perrysburg.

Born Jan. 31, 1949, in Blossburg, Pennsylvania, Regina is survived by her loving mother, Renée (Thomas) Cassidy and beloved sister, Kathy Stevens, of Perrysburg, Ohio; two daughters, Renée (Mike) Cerruti of Santa Cruz, California, and Danielle Woodlief of Tampa, Florida; three granddaughters, Claire, Alex, and Jessica; two grandsons, Preston and Sean, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Regina is now resting in the arms of Jesus, along with her brother Greg (who passed away in 1988); her father, Dexter Stephens (who passed away in 1971); and other dear relatives and friends.

Regina, a sought-after caregiver for many years, was known as a loyal and loving person who was a friend to everyone. Her radiant smile and outgoing personality will be a cherished memory for all who knew her.

A dialysis patient for 11 years, Regina is now free from suffering and pain. With the hope of benefiting medicine and other people, she donated her body to science. Regina requested that those who knew her say The Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13 KJV). She is forever and always in God's hands and in our hearts.

Memorial services were conducted 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, at Mt. Pisgah Christian Church with the Rev. Raymond Stegall officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
