Roma's Story

Roma Armitage Crouch, age 83, of Clearfield, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
Born February 19, 1934, in Bath County, Roma was a daughter of the late Carl Arthur and Ocie Spencer Armitage. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Woodford, Stanley, and Donald Armitage, and two sisters, Leah Ramey and Maxine Byrd.
Mrs. Crouch is survived by one son, Anthony Graden Crouch and wife Debbie of Louisville; two daughters, Thalia Purnell and Anna Johnson, both of Morehead; seven grandchildren, Chris, Clarissa, Tina, David, Manson, Matt, and Julie; eight great grandchildren; and several special nieces and nephews.
Roma retired from St. Claire Regional Medical Center after more than 30 years of service in the Dietary Department. She attended the First Church of God and enjoyed listening to Christian music and church services on the radio. Roma always enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren, and will be lovingly remembered.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Allan Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Upper Salt Lick Cemetery, Salt Lick, Kentucky.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
