Mrs. Vicky Lee Catron Williams, age 61, of Olive Hill, passed away Monday evening, November 27, 2017, at her residence.
She was born May 23, 1956, in Mansfield, Ohio, a daughter of Elbert and Lenora Oakley Catron of Olive Hill.
Vicky was of the Baptist faith and she loved cooking, selling Avon and babysitting for many children. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Bryant.
Vicky is survived by her husband of 41 years, Don Williams; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sarah Williams of Olive Hill; three grandchildren, Ethan Williams, Victoria Hall, and Dawson Hall, all of Olive Hill; one brother, Jeff Catron of Morehead; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Jennifer and Paul O'Daniel and Cathy Johnson, all of Olive Hill, Kristy Catron of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Johnnie and Danny Carroll of Olive Hill; and two very special children whom she thought of as her own, Brian Thompson and Olivia Thompson of Olive Hill. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, with Brother Bobby Day and Brother Austin Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Manning Chapel Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2017, and after 9 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Mike Williams, Dawson Hall, Ethan Williams, Derek Johnson, Paul O'Daniel, Danny Ray Carroll, J.B. Carter, and Mark Porter will serve as pallbearers. Joe Cassell, Wilford Oakley, and Jerry Strunk will serve as honorary pallbearers.
