William Earl's Story
William Earl "Bill" Holbrook, age 63, of Rock Fork Road, Morehead, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017, at his residence.
He was born February 10, 1954, in Raceland, Kentucky, a son of the late Louie Ernest and Mary Brinegar Holbrook. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester Clay Holbrook and Terry Lee Holbrook, and one sister, Penny Fultz.
Bill is survived by two daughters, Tina (Brian) Willis of Flatwoods and Jessica (James) Mills of West Liberty; three grandchildren, Kendra Willis, Briana Willis, and William Braxton Willis; and two great grandchildren, Adriane Willis and Hunter Russell.
Surviving are four brothers, James D. Holbrook and Ernest Holbrook, both of Morehead, Gary Holbrook of Salt Lick, and Donald J. Holbrook of Owingsville; one sister, Fran Short of Bartow, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bill was a former owner of Bill's Ashland in West Liberty, former truck driver, and former member of Route 519 Volunteer Fire Dept. in Morgan County. He currently owned Holbrook Cleaning Service and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, playing horseshoes, watching U.K. basketball, NASCAR and dirt track racing; and supporting his friends at Logan Racing. He loved his family and spending special times with his grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
