Mrs. Cynthia "Alfreda" Dale Puckett, age 61, of Soldier, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday afternoon, December 7, 2019, with her loving family by her side.
She was born January 15, 1958, in Marietta, Ohio, a daughter of the late Alfred and Virgie Charles Dale.
Alfreda was of the Church of God faith. She worked for the Rowan County Board of Education as a bus monitor and loved working with the children. Alfreda enjoyed going to church and revival meetings with her husband, singing for the Lord, hunting, fishing, fellowshipping with her church family and spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she adored.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Alfreda is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robbie Puckett; one son, Robert Puckett (Donna) of Olive Hill; one daughter, Monica Stevens (Kevin) of Olive Hill; three grandchildren, Shawn Puckett, Austin Stevens (Lakota), and Summer Stevens; one great granddaughter, Everleigh Ann Stevens; one step brother, Chuck Johnson of Morehead; and five sisters, Arnetta Staton (Ed) of Morehead, Sharon Annette Barker (Richard) of Farmers, Sue Conn (Herald) of Frostproof, Florida, Sherrie Dale Cox (Herald) of Ezal, and Julia Hughes (Burnis) of Butler. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, with Brother Rex Sagraves, Brother Mike Bryant, and Brother Elijah Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow in the Puckett Family Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2019, and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
