Tammie Irene Mullins Dean
Mrs. Tammie Irene Mullins Dean, age 56, of Olive Hill, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 17, 2018, at the residence of her father in Morehead. She was born November 19, 1961, in Rowan County, a daughter of Clineon Mullins and the late Linda Terrell Mullins. Tammie was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts and flower arrangements, riding with the top down, going to concerts with her husband and spending time with her family and friends. Tammie is survived by her husband of 20 years, Jerry Dean, one step son Steven Dean of Lawrenceburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Laura Mullins of Morehead; and one sister, Lynn Pelfrey of Morehead. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2018, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill, with Brother Harley Sexton Jr. and Brother Terry Dean officiating. Burial will follow in the Dean Cemetery in Olive Hill. Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018, and after 9 a.m on Monday at the funeral home. Clineon "Slugger" Pelfrey, Michael Mullins, Danny Mullins, Steven Dean, Rick Lewis and John Newsom will serve as pallbearers. Jessie Keith Boblett will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
